Jacob is a film editor and independent filmmaker from the Vancouver area with a lifelong passion for creative, unique, innovative and boundary-pushing cinema in the BC industry. He has been an Editor or Assistant Editor on more than a dozen TV movies produced by Reel One Entertainment. His independent productions include ReBoot ReWind, SEED, BUG, Grandma Lee’s Dress, Head Rush (music video - Art d’Ecco), just to name a few. Recent commercial work includes clients such as Liquid Media Group, Whistler Film Festival, Vancouver Short Film Festival, Crazy 8s Film Society, among many others. Jacob has recently been awarded “Best Director” and “Best Short Film” for his short film, “SEED” at Vancouver Badass Film Festival. He is currently an Editor at Reel One Entertainment, and holds a diploma in Film Production from Vancouver Film School.
