Jacob is a film editor and independent filmmaker from the Vancouver area with a lifelong passion for creative, unique, innovative and boundary-pushing cinema in the BC industry. He has been an Editor or Assistant Editor on more than two dozen TV movies produced by Champlain Media. His independent productions include ReBoot ReWind, SEED, BUG, Grandma Lee’s Dress, Head Rush (music video - Art d’Ecco), just to name a few. Recent commercial work includes clients such as Whistler Film Festival, Vancouver Short Film Festival, and Crazy 8s Film Society. Jacob has been awarded “Best Director” and “Best Short Film” for his short film, “SEED” at Vancouver Badass Film Festival. He is currently an Editor at Champlain Media, and holds a diploma in Film Production from Vancouver Film School.
